Delivery Areas
Homes that Last currently delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom. If you require delivery outside the UK, please contact us before placing your order to discuss availability.
Order Processing
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation by email.
As many of our products are shipped directly from carefully selected suppliers and manufacturers, processing times may vary depending on the item ordered. We will always aim to process your order as quickly as possible.
If there is an unexpected delay in processing your order, we will contact you using the details provided at checkout.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are shown on the relevant product page where possible. As some of our products may be made to order or shipped directly from suppliers, delivery times may vary between products.
Unless otherwise stated, estimated delivery times are for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
If your order contains multiple items, they may be delivered separately.
Delivery Charges
Any applicable delivery charges will be clearly displayed during checkout before you complete your purchase.
Where free delivery is offered, this will be stated on the relevant product page or at checkout.
Delivery of Large or High-Value Items
Many of our products are large, heavy or high-value items and may require a specialist courier.
For these deliveries:
- the courier may contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date;
- someone aged 18 or over may need to be present to accept delivery;
- additional delivery restrictions may apply depending on your location; and
- delivery is normally made to the address provided at checkout. Any room-of-choice delivery, assembly or installation services will only be provided where specifically stated.
Please ensure that access to your property is suitable for the item ordered. If delivery cannot be completed because access is restricted or incorrect delivery information has been provided, additional delivery charges may apply.
Inspecting Your Delivery
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If the packaging appears significantly damaged, or if the goods are damaged, defective or incorrect, please notify us as soon as possible and, where practical, within 48 hours of delivery. Providing photographs of the packaging and the item will help us investigate the issue quickly.
This request does not affect your statutory rights.
Delays
While we make every effort to ensure deliveries are made within the estimated timescales, delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, including adverse weather, courier delays or supplier issues.
If we become aware of a significant delay, we will keep you informed and work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Failed Deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because:
- the delivery address provided is incorrect;
- no one is available to accept delivery where required; or
- access to the property is unavailable,
the courier may rearrange delivery or return the goods. Any additional delivery or storage charges imposed by the courier may be payable by the customer where permitted by law.
Risk and Ownership
Responsibility for the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the delivery address provided in your order. Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.
